With more of 14 million passengers in 2017, Metrotenerife achieves historical record into demand
In the Management Board of Metrotenerife it made known the Tram Commercial Report of 2017 in which stand out the historical record of the annual demand with 14.158.691 passengers. That means an increase of 5% compared with the last year. So tram service registers four consecutive years’ growth of the demand and accumulates more than 140 million passengers in its first ten years of service.
With more 14 million passengers in 2017, Metrotenerife achieves a new historical record. The average daily of trip cancellations was of 48.109 in working days and of more than 19.700 in public holiday. Besides, the day of peak demand was on Tuesday 31st with a total of 60.298 passengers. The app ten+móvil has been used by the 27.34% of the total demand and registered in 2017 more than 10.470.000 cancellations.
