The number of passengers increased by 13% at Christmas time
Metrotenerife finished its Christmas campaign with an increase in the number of passengers by 12,98%, 147.359 more than in 2013. It has also increased the use of the tram in working days and holidays, 12,94% and 4,54%, respectively. In relation to demand per day, the 5st January was the day with the highest increase in passengers, 51.167.
With these figures, Metrotenerife reached the amount of 12.726.906 passengers, an increase of 2,15% more than in 2013. So, Tenerife Tram continues the positive trend which began in the last quarter of 2013.
