Tenerife tram renews the AENOR certifications of Quality, Occupational Health and Environmental Management

Recently Metrotenerife has been successfully the external audit of AENOR International for the renovation, until 2020, of the Quality (ISO 9001), Environmental (ISO 14001) and Occupational Health and Safety (OHSAS 18001) Management Systems.

In 2011 Tenerife Tram has achieved for the first time this triple certification for the next activities: tram service, maintenance of moving equipment and fixed installations, tramway platform, tram stops and electrical substations. Since then Metrotenerife has kept working to get new standards of excellence.

The audit highlighted the organization and celebration of the 10º Anniversary of the Tenerife Tram and the 6th European Tramdriver Championship, amongst other actions.
