Metrotenerife has published a procurement notice for the extension of Line 2 to La Gallega

Metrotenerife Board of Management has approved to tender the drafting of the construction project for the extension Line 2 from Tíncer to La Gallega. It is a part of a longer project for the urban and economic development of the southwest of the metropolitan area (DUSI project).

The Line 2 extension will have 2, 5 kilometres of route and four new tram stops. The extension will register around 3.000 passengers per day.

On the other hand, the Metrotenerife Board of Management has adjudicated the security and safety service to Ilunion Seguridad and the cash-in-transit service to Prosegur.
