Ámate leads the initiative ‘Tenerife Rosa’ to the tram stops

For the fourth consecutive year, Metrotenerife, through its Corporate Social Responsibility Plan, joins the initiative ‘Tenerife Rosa’ of the Asociación Contra el Cáncer de Mama (Ámate) to raise awareness in the society about the importance of early detection of breast cancer.

On the eve of the celebration of the World Breast Cancer Day (19 October), the president of Tenerife Island Government and of Metrotenerife, Carlos Alonso, and the president of Ámate, María del Carmen Bonfante, went at Fundación tram stop for the launch of the campaign ‘La prevención, el mayor gesto de amor’ in the tramway network.

Also, there were Miguel Becerra, the island director of Mobility; Isabel Moreno Aranda and Ana María García, vice chairwoman and member of the board Ámate, as well as Andrés Muñoz de Dios, managing director of Metrotenerife, and Tomás Martín, director of Publiservic, cooperating companies with this initiative.

For one month, the campaign will be in the tram stops and on Metrotenerife social networks (Facebook and Twitter @tranviatenerife).
