Metrotenerife collaborates with the campaign against gender violence

Metrotenerife has joined the campaign of the Canary Institute for Gender Equality on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

Messages campaign will be able to see on a tram and also in the tram stops Guajara and Cruz del Señor to raise awareness the young people about the relationship based on equality and mutual respect.

The director of Canary Institute, Claudia Morales; the counselor of Equality of the Island Government, Estefanía Castro; and the manager-director of Metrotenerife, Andrés Muñoz de Dios, presented the tram that promotes the image of the campaign against the gender violence.

Morales highlighted the social responsibility and involvement of Metrotenerife and emphasized that, with the commitment by citizens will, the gender violence will able to eliminate.
