Tram service works on Christmas Eve until 08:30 pm

Metrotenerife activates on Christmas Eve 24^th special timetables and frequencies for the tram services. Line 1 will have frequencies of 6 and 7,5 minutes, mainly, while Line 2 every 12 and 15 minutes.

As in previous years, tram services will finish at 08:30 pm with the departure of the last trams from the stops, Intercambiador Santa Cruz-La Trinidad for Line 1 and La Cuesta-Tíncer for Line 2.

The public transport is essential to collaborate on the reduction of the traffic levels in the metropolitan area. In that regard, the guided transport is a sustainable system. It produces only 0,5% of CO2 emissions while the private vehicle produces 60,7%.

Christmas Day, on Wednesday 25^th, the trams will resume their activity with the normal frequencies on public holiday, 15, 20 and 30 minutes, until the end of the service at midnight.
